I have a Kenwood DNX690HD which uses the Garmin platform for its navigation. My question. How do I have the unit display the zoom level that I want the maps displayed in? Each time the unit boots up, I have to use + sign to increase the zoom level. Is there a way to save the zoom level that I want, so that the device always boots to that zoom level. Thanks in advance.

I'm with you, Nomutthere. I've had over 30 views and no replies. Maybe this site isn't so good? I have had two Garmins. One was frustrating because it would constantly default to its own zoom even without turning it off. But the other one would stay where I wanted, but defaulted when turned off. The 1st was a 1350, I forgot the other one. I'm not great at this stuff, so that's the best I can do.
It is frustrating with this stuff because its hard to find answers.
