My Nuvi 1690, which is integrated into the dash of my Suzuki SX4, stopped working. The screen is black. I pugged it into my computer using the mini-USB port, and it works fine. So the problem is with the 10-pin linear connector port (either in the car or in the GPS).
What are the pinouts to the car connector on the NUVI 1690. Note that that is not the Mini-USB port, but rather a linear connector along the bottom edge of the GPS. It might be that all NUVI 1690s have that connecter, but with a plastic plug covering it up. I do not know whether that is the case or not.
Has anyone else encountered this particular problem?
