Hi guys I'm new here. I'm having problems uploading maps onto my Nuvi 2360, I have the OTM for Zimbabwe img however I dont know what to do with it. I also have a Nuvi 2597. My question for this Nuvi is "Can I retrieve maps from it to install on the 2360. If so, how can I do this?

Some maps are 'locked' to a particular unit, this is done by adding small lock files in the same folder as the main file, the small files have names like xxx.gma

An img file can be copied to the /Garmin or /Map folder on a microSD card or the internal memory of the GPS unit, but if the map is locked you won't be able to use it, you can check on it's locked status using Garmin Basecamp
