Help! When turning on my Nuvi 2595, it goes to the Garmin screen, shows "loading maps" below, and then shuts down. Takes about 7 or 8 seconds. Also, when first turned on, there is a continual faint buzz until it shuts down. I tried doing a reset by pressing the lower right hand corner on the screen while turning it on. Still just shuts down. Any suggestions? Tried with the memory card in and with it removed.

You could try connecting the 2595 to a computer running Garmin Express, if you have a corrupted map you may be able to re-install it

Your options are quite limited, a simple thing to try would be to remove any microSD memory card from the 2595, if there are corrupted files on it then powering up the unit without the microSD could stop the auto power down
