Pedometer

Hi all

I am new to all this GPS stuff but like walking and eager to learn.

Can anyone tell me if I can initially use my newly acquired (second hand) Garmin eTrex Vista HCx GPS Receiver as a simple pedometer i.e. tell me how far I have walked?

Yes, here is part of page 35 of the user manual, it shows a 'Page' called Trip Computer
