Rating of HDOP value

Hi!
I've scanned several GPS-Info sites, but with no luck.
Can anyone tell me how to judge the HDOP. Which are consiedered to be
good, average, bad? Is there an official rating and does anyone have a
pointer for me?

There is no official rating. Good HDOP may be considered below 2. Medium
up to 4-5. Bad above 5. Very good below 1.

Some devices/software may use certain HDOP thresholds, but they are not
based on an official rating.

You can use online sat prediction services or mission planning software
to get a better practical idea on DOPs.

I've Scanned the several GPS device. Horizontal Dilution of Precision, 0.5‐99.9. Decimal
digit.
HDOP Values below 4 are great and value above 8 are
bad
HDOP is blank when no GPS fix.
