not sure that's a clear name for post. I have a program for areas and locations want to explore in decimals. I was able to covert to format and get right location for use on my 66i. is there a way to enter data on computer and import to 66i?

right now Im just entering new way points, renaming and entering gps coordinates manually...a long process!!

also is there a way to just convert the 66i to use decimal coordinates instead of deg, min?

You can download Garmin Basecamp for free, this runs on both Windows and IOS, with this program you can generate Waypoints (also Routes and Tracks) and then download them to your 66i.

You can setup both your 66i and Basecamp to use many different forms of co-ordinate, as a minimum you would be able to select items 1 - 3 from this list Click HERE
