Hi!
I'm using a Trimble Geo7x with Terrasync 5.61 and the Rangefinder module. I would like to collect a line/area feature by shooting points. This is because, sometimes instead of walking along a line/area feature it would be easier to just shoot a few point with the Rangefinder and define them as a line.
I've tried to record a line with vertices, but this doesn't work the way I want it to. When I record a vertex for a line feature using the Rangefinder, the measured range is used as an offset for the line and not as an offset for the vortex.
Alternatively, I could collect some generic points and then combine them to a line/area. Is this possible in Terrasync?
Cheers,
Julian
