    Hello,
I have a Garmin Nuvi 260W (older discontinued model) and of course the maps are outdated. I would like to update the maps and Garmin has a promotion going on right now so I need to move pretty fast to order before the promotion expires.

My research indicates there are recently updated maps that will work with my old unit but I have a few questions:

My internal memory will not hold the updated maps so I need to use an SD Card to
supplement my memory. Will a plain everyday SD Card work or does it have to be
    a Garmin card?

I notice that some SD cards have different class' such as Class 2 or Class 4. Do I need
a card that has a class number or a card that just says SD Card?

Since some of the mapping will reside on my SD Card will the processing speed
    of the GPS be slower?

I am not very good with electronics so I really appreciate any input and advice any of you can offer.

    Thanks in advance.

    Charlie
