sim808 responds slowly with urduino uno

Hi members,
I have used sim808 with urduino uno but the AT commands are not read in the order I have put in code. When I send a message for instance with "AT+CMGL=\"REC UNREAD\"", it only reads a section of the message and the later reads the other part of the message. Anyone who knows about how to fix this?
